How can I get Irish TV on my UK Sky digibox?

You can't, you need an Irish viewing card.  However, RTE Radio is available on channels 892, 910, 914, 915 and 916. [Top]

Will my old ONdigital box get Freeview?

It depends on how long it's been since you last used it and how old it is.  The best bet is to start it running, see if the software can be updated off-air and then do a "scan for channels" and see what happens. [Top]

Do you have footage of a programme I was in?

No.  You need to find and contact the current rights holder.  Be aware that most programming before the 1970s has been wiped; and that live programmes were rarely if ever recorded in the first place. [Top]

Will you write my A-Level thesis for me?

No.  You can use our articles to produce your thesis, but you must quote us as a source (if you don't, it is plagiarism and you will be found out).  If you write to us asking a complicated question, the answer to which will obviously be copied and pasted into your thesis, we just won't reply.  It wouldn't be your work anyway, would it? [Top]

Can I do work experience with you?

No.  We're a not-for-profit website, run by enthusiasts dotted all around the UK and beyond.  We have no office for you to work in. [Top]

How much do you pay for articles?

We don't pay.  We're a not-for-profit website, run by enthusiasts and have no budget to pay for contributions. [Top]

Can you publicise my event/news story?

No.  We're not a broadcaster, we're a website. [Top]

Do you like my TV programme idea?

Very possibly, but there's nothing we can do with it.  We're not a broadcaster. [Top]

Can I have copies from your archive?

Sorry, no.  We're run by volunteers giving up their free time (we all have real jobs during the day) and therefore don't have the time to find, copy and send on material to you. [Top]

Can I swap archive material with you?

Sorry, no.  We're run by volunteers giving up their free time (we all have real jobs during the day) and therefore don't have the time to find, copy and swap material with you. [Top]

Can I get a programme on DVD or video?

Possibly.  Not from us, though.  Try searching Amazon or HMV or looking on eBay. [Top]

Can I send you my poems?

We'd rather you didn't, but thanks anyway. [Top]

What are the analogue frequencies in my area?

No idea.  You need to know the transmitter or booster transmitter you get your programmes from and search Google with that information. [Top]
