Hello and welcome to City Road - the new name for the Tyne Tees Logo Page.
The site also has a brand new look and a new home - fully integrated into Transdiffusion’s televisual archive site, Telemusications and sits alongside our existing sites ABC at Large, Television House (our site on Rediffusion) and Talk of Thames.
The aim of the site remains the same. To tell the story of Tyne Tees Television - ITV franchise holder for the North East of England. The history, the presentation, the people, the programmes. The Tyne Tees Logo Page has been telling that story since 1997 and as Tyne Tees moved out of City Road, so we’re moving in.
As part of the relaunch, we’ve re-organised the content with new sections called Programmes and People. At the same time, we’ve improved the site visually - increasing the size and improving the clarity of many of our images.
