Hi there. I'm in my late teens - I was born in the Thatcher era but thankfully I remember very little of it. My interests include political history, BBC News branding, Saturday mornings on BBC-1 over the years and Radio Times. As a student of politics I like to keep up with the news, as long as it's presented to me by the BBC or The Guardian. As far as musical tastes go your average Radio 1 playlist is rather good, with extra emphasis on the likes of Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. I got into television presentation through the internet, and then remembered how much over the years I had followed the changes on screen without actually realising that it was something you could be interested in. Since Spring 1999 when I joined mhp-chat I've caught up by recording copious amount of it, and the additions of ITV Digital and TiVo since then have not helped the weekly bill for blank video tapes. |
