Year's Eve wouldn't be New Year's Eve without a trip up to
Scotland for a Hogmanay special. ITV's federal structure
means that they have a company on the spot, in the form of
Scottish Television, to produce the programme.
Interestingly,
the cast for the show is more international than an STV
production of an Scottish celebration might suggest. The
usual suspects from Scots entertainment of the time are there,
but are joined by Roy Castle, The Bachelors, Ivor Emmanuel and
the Peiro Brothers - stars that don't necessarily spring to mind
when you say "Scotland". |
