No Voice for Christian Voice
Springer opera court fight fails
"As a whole [it] was not and could not reasonably be regarded as aimed at, or an attack on, Christianity or what Christians held sacred"
The latest stage in the seemingly never ending saga of Jerry Springer: The Opera, a group who call themselves Christian "Voice" (my quotes on that one - I have yet to find any organisation which proclaims to be the "voice" of a large number of people, ever to come close to being what they say) and the BBC seems to have, yet again, come out in favour of Auntie. The "Voice" have been lost their latest attempts to prosecute BBC Director General, Mark Thompson, for blasphemy.
No doubt it won't be the last attempt from the "Voice" in their never ending attempts persuade everyone that they are right, despite people regularly telling them the opposite. Hey, someone high up with power may listen to them. Maybe. But for the meantime the BBC can celebrate that it continues to be off the hook on the religious front. Well, until someones sends Thompo over to Sudan to name a teddy bear Muhammed, anyway.
