Sky News: Mylene Fronts Sky's Klass New Test Card
Sky belatedly jumps on the "Test Cards are great even though they are so retro" bandwagon in this latest attempt to get the rest of us to sign up for Sky HD, with a suitably breathless accompanying press release to match. However the new Sky HD test card isn't that bad a looker, though whether you think the same of Mylene Klass remains to be seen :-)
Oh, and the cross was meant to be in the centre of the original Test Card F but it actually wasn't; this oversight was corrected for Test Card J and W that was recently introduced for digital and widescreen BBC broadcasting. And the BBC actually produced a high definition Test Card X a while ago, so Sky were actually beaten by the BBC in that respect as well...
