No logo please, it's Torchwood

I've been looking forward to watching Torchwood - the new Doctor Who spinoff series "for adults" - for a long time, and didn't mind the prospect of seeing it first on BBC Three because normally they turn off their on-screen logo for drama programmes.

Not this time.

Infact they even went as far as adding a "BRAND NEW" underneath it, presumably just incase someone really stupid thinks that they are watching the 1000th rerun of an old Doctor Who. Allegedly.

I can tolerate watching a programme with an on-screen logo if I have to, but I dislike such logos as a principle, and given the fact that it will be repeated shortly on BBC Two there's no need to put up with any of this marketing nonsense. (Which it is, because there's no other reason why such a logo is used.)

So I did the decent thing, and switched off.
