Roll up, roll up for multichannel television's latest moneyspinner
Many of the numerous quiz channels that can now be found on digital TV may not exactly be breaking the law but some of their working practices are morally dubious to say the least. And not accepting calls on-screen for many minutes even whilst people try to phone in with their answers is bordering on fraud.
What will happen as an outcome of ongoing investigations remains to be seen, but expect ICSTIS to be a lot stricter than Ofcom in its punishments.
