Save 6music (and eat a cupcake)

I was on holiday on 27 March else I would have been standing outside Broadcasting House chanting and waving my placard at the protests against the proposed closure of the wonderful BBC Radio 6music.

About two thousand people turned up according to the Guardian, which just goes to show that there's a lot of passion involved in this battle.

And hey, any protest which has it's own cupcakes really can't lose, surely?

Don't forget, you too can have your say on the proposed closure and other aspects of the BBC's strategy review at the BBC Trust website. And I should disclose that whilst not wandering around Transdiffusion Towers, I do work for the BBC and thus the views stated here are my own and not representative of my employer. Which you might have guessed…
