Broadcast Now: NetPlay to launch Freeview channel

CNN International may be replacing Nuts TV on Freeview in the New Year, and Bid TV may be bidding farewell in deference to something from Discovery Networks, but there still appears to be room left over for more tacky content to be squashed into what precious little bandwidth remains in the digital terrestrial transmission network.

Step forward NetPlay, which will be using Channel 48 to broadcast everything from Supercasino.com to, yes you've guessed it, other gambling games, so that people desperate to avoid the credit crunch can try their hand at losing even more money as a consequence.

Never mind the quality, they say...
