UKTV G2 gets unlikely new name: Dave
For reasons best known to themselves, UKTV have announced that they're rebranding the clumsily named UKTV G2 to Dave. Yes. Dave.
Apparently this was because "everyone knows a bloke called Dave". Everyone except me although I'm no doubt the exception that proves the rule.
Dave will be inviting you and his mates to watch him on Freeview as well, where he'll be replacing UKTV BrightIdeas - soon to be known as Shirley presumably. Dave likes a late night too by the looks of it, so he'll be on air from 7am to 3am.
