BBC pulls out of Neighbours fight
And the hot story on Ramsey Street this week is that the BBC has withdrawn from the bidding for the programme, after contract renewal would have left it paying over three times the current bill.
ITV has to now be, without a doubt, the favourite to take the £300m prize, lest Five jump in there for a Aussie double bill at 6pm.
