Media Guardian: Launch of ITV region delayed
Actually the news that ITV's new Thames Valley region (a combination of Meridian West and Central South) is going to launch a month late on 4 December isn't exactly the most exciting news you'll read today.
Indeed I'm only blogging about it for one reason - this wonderful paragraph from the Media Guardian...
Work is well under way to equip the region's new headquarters at Meridian's digital studios in Whiteley in Hampshire, with specially commissioned equipment for the sales team being installed.
Yep, as long as you've got the sales equipment then you've obviously won half the battle as far as the Media Guardian is concerned! Who needs studios, lights, vision mixers, microphones, a set, autocue, cameras and so on, anyway?
