Gwynfor Evans stood up to Margaret Thatcher and won, forcing her to do a U-turn when she attempted to renege on the government promise to establish S4C. I join with my fellow countrymen in remembering this great man, the first Plaid Cymru MP and a man prepared to die for his country and language. - RE
