The Times: ITV begs for a little help from BBC to beat strike
With a 36 hour strike in the offing, it's with a hint of irony that ITV's saviour is the BBC's studio facilities in Television Centre. Which is why on Saturday night, BBC studios and production staff will be used to keep ITV's live programme Hit Me Baby One More Time on air, being produced not far away from the BBC's own rival programme Strictly Dance Feever.
Ant and Dec however won't be enjoying the delights of London's W12 district - instead their show will be pre-recorded.
