Sound TV have finally officially announced a launch date for the start of their channel. The channel will launch at 7pm on Saturday 26th February.
Having seen the launch schedule for the first couple of days, I can't say I'm overly impressed, but Sound TV (formerly known as The Great British Television Channel) seem fairly convinced in themselves that their plan is sound, and they will get a decent audience share, though there is a lot of competition out there, and you can bet there will be more. Whether the backing of big names such as Richard Digance, Jethro and Chris Tarrant is enough, only time will tell.
