Whom Do You Trust?

Press Gazette: In The Beeb We Trust

Apparently in a survey of 2,178 people, 624 of them (28%) named the BBC as the news provider they trust the most - making them the highest scorers in the survey. Indeed, they came way above anyone else - with Sky News coming second with 112 votes (5%).

But perhaps the saddest sight was ITN which limped in at seventh behind various newspapers. Their position - determined by combining votes for ITV News, Channel 4 News and Five News - doesn't look particularly good in this sample, and is a sad reflection of the public's view of the once proud news provider.
