Well, it has looked likely all along, but Roly Keating is set to take the BBC2 job when Jane Root leaves for Discovery.
I'm not sure whether this is good. While I admire Roly's work at BBC4, I want him to stay there and do a good job as he has done so far.
But now, in the busier, ratings driven world of BBC2, I wonder how he will fare?
Still, at least it isn't Stuart Murphy.
