ITV pull the surprise on us and actually launched the new look ITV News at 5.30am in the morning. The ITV Morning News on ITV1 and the ITV News Channel was the first programme to use the new look. Some elements have stayed, namely the corporate blue and yellow colours, which are most prevalent in the graphics. Some elements though have very definitely changed. The titles only say ITV News, with the programme name appearing only on the videowall in the background. ITV have imported the four blocks into the ITV News look, and indeed imported blocks in general into the titles. Other changes are expected to be revealed through the day.
