Bong! (Again)

One interesting thing from the ITC press release marking the end of news at when is this delightful little paragraph:

"The change will also mean that most of the regional non-news programmes currently shown at 10.30pm will be moved into peak"

So... all those regional programmes that no one ever sees because they're on past our bedtimes will suddenly appear before 10:30pm? What? When a repeat of Midsummer Murders could be on? Call me cynical but I'll believe it when I see it.

Mind you let's hope my cynism is unfounded as I'm sure I'm like many Carlton London viewers simply can't wait for programmes of such calibre as 'Ann Summers Uncovered' to hit prime time.
