Caller dies live on the radio

6 January 2006 tbs.pm/307

This is not the sort of thing I like talking about, but it definitely is a shaker. A phone-in caller to a local radio station in Liverpool, died whilst he was on the air.

As someone who has worked in radio, and who lives, eats, breathes and sleeps radio, this shakes me, to the core of my being. I definitely would not want somebody to die on a show if I was hosting it. I think I would do the same as the show’s host did here, and abandoned the programme.
