Sky supremacy a ‘marketing trick’

According to researchers from the University of Cardiff, 79.4% of stories which Sky News labels as “Breaking News” are in fact, ‘routine, predictable events’. In contrast, ITV News Channel had 32.1% whilst BBC News 24 was far smaller at 12.5%.
